The Skeleton Movement

Every bridge, wheel and jewel serves a purpose.

The J1's Swiss automatic movement has been skeletonised to reveal the architecture beneath, creating depth, contrast and light throughout the calibre. Nothing has been added for decoration. Nothing essential has been hidden.

Just mechanical engineering, exactly as it was meant to be seen.

Each Ascanbe J1 is assembled by hand in our Swiss atelier. From the skeletonized mainplate to the individually polished bridges, every component is finished with anglage and perlage techniques typically reserved for haute horlogerie.

The J1 ships on an alligator leather strap in dark brown, hand-stitched with contrast ivory thread. A titanium deployant clasp ensures secure wear without stressing the leather. Additional NATO and rubber straps sold separately.

The J1 Skeleton is rated to 50 metres (5 ATM). Suitable for brief water exposure and rain. Not intended for swimming or diving. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

Every Ascanbe watch is backed by a 2-year international warranty against manufacturing defects. We recommend a full service every 4–5 years. Contact our atelier for an authorised service estimate.
